This week Ally at Two Normal Moms chose the topic "10 things you'd like to see happen before you die" for Monday Listicles. I am going to stay away from the obvious...see my children get married, grandchildren. I think any mother would pick that.
10 Things I'd Like to See Happen Before I Die
1. Twitter
Certain tweeps + Vegas = Something I want to see/do before I die.
2. Volcano
I want to see a volcano erupt. I would probably be scared shitless, but I still want to witness this.
3. Australia
I have no reason other than I just do. It has been on my list of things to do for as long as I can remember. I almost got a chance to study abroad years ago. I wish I would have fought harder for that.
4. Castle
Not just any castle. My family's castle. To be honest I am not sure how much of it is standing, and I for the life of me can't remember if it is in Ireland or Scotland. I have an uncle that has all this info. I just want to stand in the same place as my ancestors.
5. Disneyland
I have been there MANY times. I want to see it through the eyes of my children. I am running out of time on this. I want to see my children light up at the magic that is in Disney. I know it is even magical as an adult, but I want to see my kids believe that everything is real.
6. Dolphins
I want to swim with them in water so crystal clear I can see the sand at the bottom.
7. Grey's Anatomy
I would give ANYTHING (okay, almost anything, let's be reasonable here) to sit and watch a taping of Grey's Anatomy. Maybe even live blog from the set.
8. Northern Lights
How cool would it be to enjoy the Northern Lights, maybe even learn some time lapse photography and capture it all. For now this live stream will have to do: Here
9. Mayan Ruins
There is just something about them that intrigue me. Another one of those that I have just always wanted to see.
10. Book Tour
I want to go around and tour and sign my own freaking books. I should umm...probably write those books.
If you are wondering why the zombie apocalypse didn't make it on the list it is because, as much fun as I have writing about it and planning I don't ACTUALLY want to see it happen. I am not the most coordinated person and with all the planning in the world I cannot change the fact that I am the blond that would probably trip and die in the first few hours.
